About Me
Whether approaching a strategic UX project or a solo-backpacking trek around Southeast Asia, I love pushing my own boundaries. I combine technology, design, and an entrepreneurial mindset to create things that improve lives. I recently started AstoriaLive.com to connect my neighborhood in Queens, NY with events in the community.
I began my career designing textiles for Macy's before changing lanes to create digital products instead of material ones. My skills in user-focused design research, strategy, testing, visual design, coding, and presenting have been a common thread in my career. I keep developing my skills through programs like Codeacademy and Skillshare and I've won awards for my work including a UX EdTech Hackathon competition, a Startup Weekend, and an EPA sustainability grant.
In addition to my work at Verizon on experiences for families, I volunteer through social impact organizations like Progressive Hacknight, Be Social Change, and Impact Hub. In my spare time, you can find me globetrotting, printmaking, and taking improv classes.
